Sunday evening just hanging out reading a few blogs and I come across Darren Rowse’s blog post on “Blogger Appreciation Day”. He’s just come up with it himself, but I must say it is definitely much appreciated. I’d love for it to pick up and become an actual day. So in recognition of “Blogger Appreciation Day”, here’s a list of some of my favorite blog posts from a few well known and not so well known blogs around the web.

Shoemoney is one of the premier money makers on the web. I really enjoy this post because it acts as a motivator for those of us just starting out. Don’t be disappointed if you fail at first, a lot of people do, most do, just keep working and with persistence you’ll get it write.

Pete Moore: 5 Tips I Wish I Knew When Starting In Internet Marketing
This is a great post because it outline a few mistakes most new Internet Marketers make! It really helps shortens the learning curve.

John Chow: Essential Tips and Techniques For Better Blog Commenting
We spend so much time writing our blogs, but commenting on others is really important too. Becoming part of the community is not just writing a post and saying hey read my stuff. Remembering the etiquette and how to constructively write comments is important.

John Cow: Top Six Money Making Plugins For Wordpress
Although I don’t endorse impersonating someone else and writing a blog based on it. The John Cow blog did have a good post on plugins for Wordpress. I actually, just implemented a few of these.

SEOmoz: 10 Remarkably Effective Strategies for Driving Traffic
I’m an avid reader of SEOmoz, not because it has great SEO stuff but because the blogs are interesting, informative, and usually entertaining. I found this to be one of the most interesting posts, and definitely worth a read. While you’re at SEOmoz be sure to read their SEO for Beginners articles they’re exceptionally well written and extremely useful.
